Bill is a licensed auctioneer and attorney with a 30-year history as trial attorney, creator of non-profit corporations and business owner in the Portland, Maine area. Graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 1989, University of Maine School of Law in 1992, and the Western College of Auctioneers in 2022, Bill has been involved in the auction industry since the mid-1990’s working for Barridoff Galleries, a fine art auction house located in the Portland area. Becoming an owner in 2017, Milliken and his partners have endeavored to bring fine art auctioneering into the digital age and to expand its traditional customer base. A member of the National Auctioneers Association, Milliken hopes as President to help the auction industry in Maine span the digital divide to survive and thrive in these changing economic times.

Andrew got his start in the auction industry fresh out of college as photographer for Northeast Auctions in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His role quickly grew to include photography, catalog design, web development, and working in many other aspects of the business. After nearly 15 years with the company, they held their last auction in 2019. Casco Bay Auctions was formed shortly thereafter, and held its first sale in September of 2019. Since then, the company has grown quickly, and much of its success can be attributed to connections made with other auctioneers and antique dealers. Andrew is dedicated to the spirit of community and friendly competition, and truly believes the old adage that a rising tide lifts all boats.

Ruth graduated from Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and has completed numerous courses of graduate study in the field of Auctioneering, specializing in Benefit Auctions. Moxie Auctions was born to serve Maine nonprofits in raising the funds they need to accomplish critical work in our state. Ruth is an active member of the National Auctioneers Association, and currently serves as the NAA Ambassador to Maine. As an Appraiser, Ruth specializes in vintage and antique quilts.

Rusty Farrin is owner of Farrin’s Country Auctions of Randolph, Maine, specializing in estates, gold, silver and quality items, and holding a federal firearms license. Rusty has been in the auction industry for 45 years going back to 1975 when, as a sophomore in high school, he attended the Fort Smith School of Auctioneering in Fort Smith, Arkansas, becoming the youngest auctioneer in the State of Maine. Rusty also participated in a 3-year program of the Certified Auctioneer’s Institute at the University of Indiana, Bloomington from 2010 to 2012 and the Advanced Auctioneer Academy in Phoenix, Arizona in 2012. Rusty was winner of the Maine Auctioneer’s Association Bid Calling Championship in Rockland, Maine in 2007, and in 2010 served as president of the Maine Auctioneer’s Association. After all of these years, Rusty is still passionate about his work and enjoys working with his three sons at this family oriented auction facility in Randolph, Maine. Farrin’s Country Auctions takes great pride in the work they do, holding live auctions, benefit auctions, real estate auctions and online auctions.
