Maine Auctioneers Association

The Maine Auctioneers Association (MAA) is a state-wide association dedicated to improving professionalism in the auction industry and promoting the auction method of marketing. The Association offers leadership, support, information and assistance to its members through its various committees and services, and lobbies to protect and enhance auction interests in the State. Members in good standing in the Maine Auctioneers Association abide by Maine Auction Law, MAA By-Laws and a strict Code of Ethics.

2009 Annual Meeting

The Maine Auctioneers Association will hold its Annual Meeting on January 9-10, 2009 at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. Once again there will be speakers from the National Auctioneers Association speaker board talking about the current state of the auction industry as well as giving us more information on their specialties in the auction business. Members of the MAA are encouraged to attend and to expand their own expertise as well as network with some of the leading auctioneers in the State of Maine.

USPAP Course

The National Auctioneers Association is sponsoring a USPAP certification course for appraisers on January 7-8, 2009 at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. For more information, contact the NAA education department or check out the newest newsletter coming your way soon.
